Frigiliana borders the Almijara mountains, a protected natural area stretching up to Granada and the Sierra Nevada.
It is about 60 km to Malaga Airport and only 5 min. drive to the beaches of Nerja.

The Old Town
The old town is currently protected and has several rewards for embellishment. The whitewashed houses and narrow streets with flowers and plants creates a charming and picturesque atmosphere.
Campo
The rural areas outside the village is called Campo. Here the land is cultivated with Olives, advocates, miscellaneous fruits, etc.
It is also not abnormal to see the local goat shepherds pulling their goats out or home from grazing.
